Tradition and meaning
Shani (Saturn) is the graha of discipline, time and karma in Jyotish, worshipped especially on Saturdays. A yantra is a sacred geometric diagram, traditionally used as a focus for worship and meditation; the lines and shapes are meant to be looked at, revered and often paired with a specific mantra. Yantras are traditionally associated with a mantra and with a particular deity or graha. The meaning is devotional and symbolic, with no promise of any result. A commonly used mantra for this deity or graha is 'Om Sham Shanaishcharaya Namah'; use the mantra your own tradition or guru teaches.
